Keynote Speaker
This year we are excited to have Elsa Kok Colopy as our guest speaker at the fifth annual Legacy of Love Single Moms' retreat. Elsa was a single mother for 12 years before meeting her true love and husband Brian. She knows firsthand what it is like to be a single mom and how challenging, and rewarding, it can be.
The theme of this year's retreat will be "The Real Thing" - living an authentic relationship with God and others.. Elsa will lead the retreat in a series of discussions about relationships, including sessions about "Authentic Faith," "Genuine Relationship," and "Pure Romance."
Elsa is the author of five books, including The Single Mom's Guide to Keeping it All Together and Pure Love, Pure Life, a purity book for teen girls, along with hundreds of articles. She is the former editor of Focus on the Family’s Thriving Family magazine and a contributing expert on the DivorceCare DVD series. Elsa now writes and speaks full-time, traveling around the country leading retreats, seminars, and workshops.

Praise and Worship
Praising God through song is always a highlight of the Legacy of Love retreat. Back by popular demand, Michael Bridges will once again serve as our song and praise leader. Michael is the Minister of Music at Sunnyvale Baptist Church and song leader of Living Proof, a Christian singing group.
